Marinating The Chicken
For the best flavor, allow the chicken to marinate for at least 20–30 minutes. Overnight marinating will give even deeper flavor.
Rice
Toasting the rice before adding liquid enhances the overall flavor and prevents the rice from becoming mushy.
If the rice looks slightly dry while cooking, add a small amount of broth (¼ cup at a time) as needed.
Keep the heat on low to medium once the broth is added to avoid burning the bottom.
Let the dish rest for 5 minutes after cooking—this helps the rice finish steaming and improves texture.

In a large bowl, season the chicken thighs with: olive oil, salt, pepper garlic blend, chicken seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, italian seasoning, paprika ,oyster sauce and soy sauce.
Mix well until fully coated. Let sit for at least 20–30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).

Sear the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large pan or pot over medium heat
Place chicken skin-side down
Sear until golden and crispy
Flip and sear the other side
Do NOT fully cook—just build flavor and texture
Remove chicken and set aside

Build the Flavor Base-
In the same pan:
-Add a little more olive oil
-Sauté onion, shallots, and garlic until fragrant
-Add Vegetables
-Toss in bell peppers
Sear until slightly softened but still vibrant
- Toast the Rice
-Add rice directly into the pot
-Stir and toast for 2–3 minutes
Season with:
Garlic powder
Turmeric (to your liking)
Add Liquid & Combine
Pour in 3 cups chicken broth
Stir everything together
Finish Cooking
Place chicken back into the pot on top of the rice
Cover and let cook on low-medium heat for 20–25 minutes, or until:
Rice is tender
Chicken is fully cooked
